Earthwatch Citizen Scientist competition
The Earthwatch Citizen Scientist Competition is about engaging ordinary citizens to think about how scientific research helps us understand environmental issues. To enter, choose an urgent environmental issue, develop original hypotheses with clear objectives and explain how the research will help solve your chosen issue. Finalists will present their proposal at Earthwatch’s prestigious Annual Debate at the RGS-IBG in October. They will be cross examined by a panel of experts and the winner will be declared Earthwatch Citizen Scientist for 2010 and win two places on an Earthwatch expedition for 2011.
