So far he's failed but he's organised a practice run in his home village in aid of the village tennis club.</p> <p>Between 1968 and 1972, nine spaceships traveled to The Moon and, in total, 24 brave men made these amazing journeys. Out of those 9 missions, 6 made successful landings. This talk will give you an insight these fantastic journeys. It's being delivered by Richard Philips, who has had a fascination with the Apollo programme since he was 10.</p> <p>The talk is taking place in Hawkesbury Upton Village Hall Saturday 18th September 2010.
