| Synopsis |
Ants and Kerry will tell the story of their circumnavigation of the Black Sea on a pair of 1990's Honda C90 cub motorcycles, called Zulu and Ken. They are setting out to cover 2600 road miles through Romania, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Abkhazia, Russia and the Ukraine. Come and find out just how far the combination of geography, politics, conflict and simple mechanics will have allowed them to go... |
| Profile |
Ants has backpacked around most of SE Asia and is well known for driving a pink tuk-tuk 12, 500 miles from Bangkok to Brighton with her friend Jo Huxster. She has filmed all over the world, from bat caves in Borneo to the jungles of India and has spent many months wrangling cars in Cameroon and horses in Outer Mongolia. Kerry has wandered much of Europe and India, lived in Nepal for almost a year and spent a few months catching mail boats around the Caribbean as a teenager. Unusually, he has also towed a full-size Finnish sauna around Eastern Europe...
Ants and Kerry are our 2010 Wilderness Award winners
